This is the part that's funny to me. Using the Cotton Bowl as a metric, since it's matched middling teams from both conferences since '99, the Big 12 has only won a single game since 2003.
To some extent, I think you're mistaking success with exposure.

By the Big12's rationale since TCU is winning there the MTN West is just as good as the Big12. A&M never had JFF or Sumlin during the Big12 or they would have won a lot and they dominated OU az proof. As for Mizzou we won our division several times there and have stepped up and got many recruits including the #1 player because we're now in the SEC. And how canthe SEC be top heavy when we went 7-3 in Bowl games last year.

It's not my fault you went to only 2 out of 15 Big 12 title games and lost both in embarrassing fashion, while conversely, we faced the two greatest teams in the history of the Big 12 North and beat one of them.

Well, considering the 12th place team in the SEC (Arkansas) skull dragged the 8th place team in the B12 (Texas Tech) 49-28, I'd say the SEC is stronger top to bottom.
Everybody talks about the SEC being top heavy, nobody talks about the middle and lower tier SEC teams kicking the shite out of other conferences.
