Hale and Tarrant are really going to lighten the load for Levi. We should be much improved.
Maybe we get some breaks and sneak into the tourney.

This is a fun team to watch. There's a lot of talent spread around. Tarrant, Hale, Kessens each bring something unique

I like Kessens, but he has to work on his D. He plays like Carl did on that end of the floor.

@Marq_Burnett: USM coach Doc Sadler: I understand now why Anthony (Grant's) been telling me this is probably the best team he's had since he's been here.

Glad we haven't lost one of our early games yet. I just hope they can beat Wichita State this year.

@_KevinConnell: Anthony Grant: "I don't think we've scratched the surface yet of how good we can be."
@Marq_Burnett: Grant: "I really like our team. I think we have the potential to be really good."

Still a long way to go though. Time to start getting Coleman packed

Converted 9 of 11 at the charity stripe in the 2nd half.

Finally dominated the backboards, outrebounded USM 36-22

watched parts of the last 2 games and what I like is there seems to be no egos on this team. We seem to be more athletic and we got some guys with long arms.

Love what I'm seeing. This team is deep. Never been a Grant hater, because I'm confident he knows how to run a winning program... It's obviously early, but this year has a different feel to it. Even dating back to the summer it seems like the culture has been great. GOTTA GET PEOPLE IN THE SEATS

Remain undefeated after a trip to KC and the people will begin to come. I've been in a packed Coleman coliseum before, but those were good basketball teams.
I'm going to hold judgement on this team until after KC at least. It's encouraging that we have several guys capable of making an outside jumper and several guys capable of driving to the basket. I'd like to see Hale and Taylor get involved more offensively on the low block, would like to see what kessens is capable of in the paint too. The Iowa state game is going to tell us much more than the first 3 have, and frankly I can't wait.

Definitely holding judgement, we'll learn alot next week. I just like the culture right now. They seem to like playing for Grant and UA. We lose that Western Carolina game in past years, maybe this team is mature (they should be)
The offense is mainly what I'm waiting for but obviously it's finally executing the way it is supposed to with a little tempo to it. This particular style of offense is kinda Witherspoon's baby, we aren't just relying on a flat ball screen at the end of the shot clock anymore . 3 games in, the Reggie Witherspoon experiment is a success.

I agree. I think the 3 freshmen have brought a renewed sense of excitement to the rest of the team. Sometimes it takes a young pup for the old dog to get off the porch and go play.

Yea, and obviously guys like Levi waited on Releford to do alot last year and weren't sure when and when not to be aggressive. I'm still not sure about Retin though...
