Donors love/hate of Long tends to focus on the amount of access to the program they had before and after him. Broyles let a lot of longtime donors and cronies have crazy access to the program. Long runs the place like a business. This pisses off the good old boy network who feel like they're unappreciated for their contributions

No, not close at all.

Long seems to shun some donors. Then, when he needs something such as money, he calls them. I know of a few who have said they will no longer deal with him.

The feathers began to ruffle when money was raised for the baseball facility, by someone other than Long. Long decided to use that money elsewhere.

Long has treated the program as simply a business imho. One that has a monopoly and the folks need. Not the other way around.

Let's be clear. Long needs the fans, the donors to continue supporting a football team that has shown us nothing in a long time, and a Basketball team that has done much the same.

APR up, GREAT
Funding up, GREAT
Facilities up, GREAT
WHERE ARE THE WINS!

I do believe they are on their way, but to keep going back to the cash cow over and over constantly without providing entertaining results will sooner or later bite the hand that feed that cash cow. And the foundation knows this, they are pulling out all stops to make sure the fans see some appreciation. Got a visit a few months back from one of their higher ups, took us out to dinner etc. never happened before.

Long needs to take stock and while continuing to place emphasis on the above, also place some seats in jeopardy if the winning doesn't come soon.

I disagree with the letter period. but I do understand the frustration from which it was written I am a Jeff Long fan, but a Hog fan first. Just Win baby!
