Depends who you are.
At Vandy it probably has no effect.
Auburn plays really well at home. Bama plays really well at home.
LSU's fans leave at halftime so that has to be a negative effect
This. Also, Vandy is an odd one because it likely has little to no effect except when they play UT and then it becomes an extra home game for their opponent. Not trying to be snide there either. Is there another school where this happens?

How valuable do you think your home field is worth?
Keep in mind that home field advantage is worth 3 points over a neutral field and 6 over someone else's home field.

Depends how far back that sample went. LSU and UF would have good arguments over like 10 years. Right now neither seems especially valuable.
Did you watch the Ole Miss game?

When ole miss plays Vandy it's the same deal. More of a home game for us.. He'll they had to move it to the titans stadium this year to let more ole miss fans in.

I'd be willing to bet LSU's homefield advantage is worth more then anyone's. You would be wrong
Of course! Miles' 46-3 record on Saturday nights has nothing to do with the stadium crowd noise.

Tiger stadium +5 at night
So Vegas says Bama would be a 11.5 point favorite on a neutral field.

"Experts" say playing at home gives the home team a 3 point advantage.....

The point being made is, what does the data actually show? Some of us really don't care about 46-3, which includes a bunch of weak OOC games . We care about the record as it affects us. You can talk about crowd noise...which is very subjective...but when you have an all-time home winning percentage of only 27% against one of your biggest rivals, exactly how has that alleged home field advantage been manifest? Where has this so-called advantage actually helped you win games?

Careful with that one. It wasn't very long ago when we had a winning percentage of 0% against Auburn in Bryant-Denny. Of course the counter is, that since Saban arrived and we're now 2-1( ) in BDS.

home-field advantage has little to do with wins and losses. if lsu loses to a team by 3 that is a good 3 touchdowns better than them thats a huge home field advantage. yet we still lost.
Awful argument you just made.

Do you know how lines work? Vegas doesn't say anything. They crowd source lines to get the action equal on each side. Alabama is always inflated because the frontrunning yokels that cheer for them are suckers and you can get more points out of them because for all their loyalty, they aren't the brightest.

Depends on the opponent and time, but UGA's last home game was so long ago that it's hard to accurately remember how much it's worth

More than the "home field", you have an advantage not traveling and being on a regular routine. Familiar with the surroundings is less stressful than being on the road. As far as the home field itself being an advantage it really has little impact.
