Was taking a friend (black guy) back to his apartment after a party one night and parked to let him out. After sitting there about 5 minutes while he called his roommate to make sure he was there, a cop car pulled up behind me blocking me in.
The cop came up to the car and said "there's been some break ins in the area and we need to search your car". I was 19 and had never dealt with the cops before (at least like that) so I reluctantly agreed to it. They pulled everything out of my car and when going through my training bag pulled out my taping scissors and said "you know I could charge you with having a concealed weapon with this". Then they grabbed my friend and was like "you know you fit the description of our robber" threw him on top of the car and started to search him. They then pulled out his wallet and threatened to arrest him for not having his driver's license on him. He had neither been driving and had his school ID on him instead.
Then the cop was like "well we won't arrest you tonight but you need to get your whore arse and n***** friend out of our neighborhood.". As they were leaving I was able to manage to get their names and car tag. My parents took me down to file a complaint the next day and the two cops were put on administrative leave but were later allowed to return.
The same station they were based out of was nailed for illegal detainment and a shite ton of racial profiling.

I avoid time with them but I went in 2008 just to hear the poop storm after Obama was elected. Last time I went or will go.

My granddad used to call the Atlanta Falcons the "Falcoons". As a kid I thought he was just saying it to be funny. it eventually got shortened down to "the coons". As in "Im going to the coons game on sunday"
Thought nothing of it at the time. he also used to call brazil nuts "ni**a toes". My late mother in law did that too and meant nothing by it.

Black people from the country are some of the coolest MFers out there.
I was in Auburn for a game one year. Bama won. We were waiting in line to go into a bar after the game. Group behind us were bama fans and some were black. Auburn students(assumption) drove by and stopped at the light.
Student rolled down his window and said "go home ni**ers."
I do think that that the Machine at Bama has a bit of a racial motivation. but I never saw anything first hand during college. I was Greek and did have some athlete friends too. Familiar with both sides of the campus.

I tried to give a black guy an extra doughnut I had once and he wouldn't take it because he thought I poisoned it.
I've been the token white guy at several political events.
other than that I haven't seen that much racism. Only real shite that goes on is with cops, but I think that's more drawn out by the behavior of a much lower class of people that unfortunately gets attributed to their skin color and not their economic status.

I laugh because you're being an obnoxious dumbass.
I'm just unsure if it's because you're trolling or if you're actually serious.

I'm only 33 so no. But my parents have talked about it quite a bit.

Probably the most racist thing I have ever laughed at (because it was so outlandish) was my great uncle who is 90 years old. Still sharp. Former P-51 pilot in the war. Born and raised in south Georgia.
He is a huge Ga tech grad/fan. Once he remarked to me
"that naggers are like Georgia fans. As individuals they are ok, but as a group, I dont like em!"

frick no you idiot
My uncle really was one of the survivors and I grew up in the south and witnessed many things that were wrong. Not just limited to blacks but jewish and catholic folks as well. I am also old enough to watch how women were treated in your mothers and grandmothers generation. just because something may not have come public back then does not mean it was not happening and being covered up.
Pardon me if some guy commenting on N***** Music seems pretty damn tame to me when I have seen folks beaten, stabbed and shot just for being outside some other idiots comfort zone.

Is this some kind of competition to you?

You are lucky, it seems so surreal now but it was very real back then.

No, just saying the benefit of youth is what seems bad now is so tame compared to where it was just a generation or two ago.

The p-51 pilot in the war negates the GT grad/fan part to him
