Ole Miss, and it is not even close. They haven't won anything in 50+ years, and are half way through the sec schedule with by far their toughest schedule to navigate, and they are talking greatness at all levels. It's really not even close....they aren't trolling, they are dead serious. It is going to be some kind of melt when they lose 2 or 3 games this season.
Oh, bullshite. Yeah, we should be confident that we beat y'all this week, but we're not nearly all that confident about facing Auburn and State. You're just a thin skinned pussy who can't handle it.
And god forbid we have a 10 win season. We'll be jumping off of buildings, I tell ya!

I guess you didn't see the thread on our board that asked about revised expectations and the majority of the responses had us at 8 or 9 wins
no I only saw the multitude of threads on here proclaiming they were the no 1 team in the country, with the Heisman finalist and should have been ranked ahead of AU and Bama. Well they were on here until yall lost to MSU

It's definitely Ole Miss. They're a very good team and they very well may beat us, but losing 2 games is a really good possibility if not a probability.

OM/MSU thinking they are going to win the natty
exposes the most delusional fanbase. Everyone who thinks it's ridiculous for OM/MSU fans to think they are going to win the natty are the true crazies. They mock OM/MSU because they secretly believe their, thus far less successful, team is going to win, which of course rules out OM/MSU winning.

No doubt. Most of these scenarios are not delusion. They are hopeful.

TAMU thinking they were a legit SEC football team
I'm pretty sure that ended for most Aggies with Ole Miss visiting, if not before. MSU could kinda sorta be explained away by Dak-for-Heisman. The horrible outing against Ole Miss at home in front of an SEC- and Texas-record crowd... not so much. And then the team just completely quit against Alabama in a record-bad performance. The truth is Arkansas could have and should have won if not for a bonehead penalty from their Goliath at LT.
1-3 wouldn't surprise me. I'd be delighted with 3-1 because that would mean we got the LSU monkey off our backs. But I don't really expect that and don't think many A&M fans do.
frick the Gamecocks for pumping up our expectations. Sumbitches.

That pertains to literally none of the ones I talked to. And I live in Houston and talked to a lot of em.

I mostly agree, but there's some recent history here. MSU looks to be world-beaters at 6-0. In 2012 they were 7-0 before losing 3 in a row (none of them close) against Alabama, A&M, and LSU.
Personally I'd love to see MSU run the table and I really think they can. But there's a lot of football left to be played.

I don't think we're going to be a power in the East. We're just winning it again.

If either miss. school makes it to the sec championship game I think georgia will win that game.

You obviously know them better than I do, but I imagine most of those fans are initially thinking to themselves, "Go To Hell, LSU fan".
That would be my thoughts, anyway.

Sig bet... weirdly between Aggies. You see mine, so you know I'll live up to it. I don't think anybody is scoring a lot of points on Ole Miss, and I trust Dak to make up for his defense's few deficiencies.
