Serious question and you can give me a level-headed response or keep your current posting pace. How is LSU going to score? You realize we have 15 interceptions on the year, right? That's over 2 per game. We average an INT/10 completions. Our rush defense is just as good. Yes, anything can happen on any Saturday. We have had wins against LSU when we were the lesser talented team. I do think we win, but DV at night is always intimidating, especially with an LSU team with their backs against the wall. Talent-wise, Ole Miss is vastly better this year, but that's not a knock on LSU.

To start with, talent wise, you aren't vastly better. In fact, LSU has more projected early round picks, as a whole, than Ole Miss has. You just have more experience. LSU's freshmen are growing up....fast...it is the back-end of the season now, and LSU is improving dramatically.

Serious answer. LSU is as good as Bama right now, maybe better. LSU has a very good OL, and some big rec's going against your 5-9' cbs......and LSU has some very good running backs. Yes, they struggle on offense, but Jennings protects the ball mostly. Ole Miss had a good defense. They haven't played a good team yet in a hostile environment.....and they haven't played a team with a real good offense yet......LSU is going to move the ball, they will be ready.

On defense, LSU has improved dramatically up the middle,,,primarily with the insertion of beckwith.....the secondary is very good....and kown is lights out now.....godcheaux has really come on strong as well.....besides, Ole miss isn't a great running team....and lsu is a very good pass defending team.

It should be a good game....I can see LSU losing if they make freshmen mistakes...but if they play sound football, with that electric crowd, I can also see them rattling ole miss and winning this one, maybe even going away like 20-10. I expect a great game out of LSU...this will be the first time, in many decades, that a home Ole Miss game will have this type of atmosphere.

Damn the Rant is going to be even worse than usual if LSU pulls off the upset.

We've been a bad running team the past two years and still rushed well against LSU. Bo had a 60 yard run against a much better defense than the one you have currently.

Also to say you have better talent is laughable at best

or sophomore mistakes. Jennings misses wide open guys like he's got money on the other team.

Get real though hollow, OM is the better team. The only reason to think LSU could win is the "revenge" factor and the fact that it's at home where there will be about an extra 20k fans. It'll be loud. Real goddamn oud.

But OM is much more experienced.
