Could you all see Charlie Strong jumping ship from Texas after one or two years if UF or SC come calling?
He has connections to both those schools and I wonder if the Texas thing isn't destined to fail miserably?

Every year is his last year according to the Rant.
FWIW, I've never said this and I wouldn't presume to predict his retirement. However, I've followed Spurrier a long time for many reasons and this is the first year he's just seemed exhausted. This team is stressing him the hell out and while he may not retire it wouldn't surprise me to learn he's been considering it.
That said, I hope he doesn't. Spurrier drove me crazy at UF (but again there's a reason/history there that made him perfect for getting under a Tennessean and Vol Fan's skin) BUT I've grown fond of him since and feel the SEC will be a sadder place and a more flavorless place when he does retire.
IOW, the Ole Jackass has endeared me to him as the years have passed.
