Sure. Like the Alabama Department of Mental Health/Mental Retardation?

less advanced in mental, physical, or social development than is usual for one's age.

Sorry you have let the media PC police determine which terms are no longer usable.

I am from Florida, went to school in Alabama and now I'm back in Florida in my sophomore year of my medical education. The state of Florida removed retard from usage because of its stigma. Personally I know and have cared for a great deal of developmentally disabled people. This isn't about PC or the liberal agenda or whatever you want to call it. It's about how I feel towards a group of people I will soon be given the opportunity to care for.
