A&M is still thin at linebacker. Aside from the starters, no one made a play. When Hilliard (starting Will, #46) went down with a dislocated ankle in the 3rd quarter, the defense struggled a lot.
Couple that with the injury to Shaan Washington and it's extremely fortunate that A&M has 3 cupcakes before Arkansas (still an SEC team).

Clowney made a heck of a difference for the entire SC defense
TAMU defense still not good. A good QB would shred them
TAMU has an offense to challenge any defense in the country
