He's saying he sees some characteristics, leadership, tenacity, work ethic. He did say they looked similar on the field too. You can't literally expect the same type of play out of Jamal though. He will make his own impact and go down as an individual, not the second coming of Tyrann.
I have a hard time expecting anyone to ever step in and fill Tyranns shoes. It takes a level of talent and instinct that I can't put into words to force the turnovers that Tyrann did.
I'd love to see it happen again and I hope Coach Wilson is dead on.

he may end up being awesome but their will never be another Honeybadger.
Just like there will never be another Bo or Hershall. Sure there will be great players but once in a generation players are just that, once in a generation players are just that, once in a generation.

Not to mention his sophomore year, would be the year of 4, like TM7.

Frank Wilson talks like the typical Tiger Ranter. "He's that legit!"

How is a 5 star a steal?

All it sounds like to me is a rebuilding yr for LSU that will have to rely on a lot of good TF performances

He will definitely get on the field in Dime and nickel packages which Chief loves to do, if I recall that is exactly how we got Mathieu on the field as a true freshman as well.

So he'll play great until the last game when he plays a part in ruining the best college team ever while losing 21-0. Then let his team down by embarrassing himself with a failed drug test which led to Bama squeaking out a win on their way to another title. Sign me up.

We'll see if the new group of TF LSU suits up can cross the 50 against this yrs Bama D

Because LSU definitely hasn't shown the ability to put TF on the field and win big games.

Never said it couldn't happen
Like in LF's case, great OL should be there for him so we will see how well he is able to do
WR is really tough for a TF to make a big impact, last really good ones were of course Julio and AJ Green
