Is the term Black generational appropriate? I keep hearing "people of color" as the latest identifying tag by the news agencies...Both seem a bit 'throwbackish in my book.

Afro's are coming back in style again and I always like the term "Afro-American" it just sounds kinda well Bad arse...

Honorable mention:

Ryan Mallett

This is just silly. He wasn't even the blackest white quarterback at Arkansas, during the SEC Era; that title belongs to Matt Jones.

I remember at least 3 occasions of watching a game on TV in a public place/bar, where a casual passer-by of color stopped and said 'That dude is white?' after a big Matt Jones play.
