Nope, but you have to consider that it is just a "as we stand right now" projection. We're going to have 4-5 commits, at the minimum, that we haven't really discussed yet. It always happen. Sometimes for the best, like Cowart. And sometimes it's just a Mike Horton kind of guy

quote:Not yet. Keith picks the most likely to be in the class even if he does not feel they are likely to land at AU. He feels he has to fill every spot with someone.
We really feel that confident about a LA 5*?

9 DE/DTs?
quote:Don't think so. See Willie Allen reply.
So he is a take now?

quote:It's not going full homer. He picks the most likely known targets. He still may not think AU leads overall to put a guy in his prediction. Personally, I wish he would leave spots blank if he did not feel AU leads or is likely to get the guys.
Does Keith always go full homer?

I think Horton winds up being a quality OL for us, down the road. Not saying he makes the All-American team, but he is a big, athletic guy.

Yep. He could very easily end up like a Mike Berry. Very similar skill set
Posted on 7/7/15 at 9:16 am to jrljr
Yeah... I'm not down on him at all. Just putting the spectrum in perspective.

We have so many Hortons in Auburn yet few donut shops.

Is Daylight still there? I'm not a big donut fan but that place was okay

Nope. I think they may still do a stand or something every once in a while, but the store is no longer there. I use to love getting the burger they had there. It was fantastic.

You were right, but I was kinda excited when we signed him.

I liked signing Horton. Quality pickup when you have an empty spot. Especially since he projects well at both DL/OL which either one could be a question mark going forward

this year, The Opening marks the 3 year anniversary of Carl Lawson almost whipping Ndamakong Suh's arse.

What happened with Suh?

Rashan Gary will still make his AU, Rebs, Bama swing this month. Just unsure of the dates. Also AU is the only OV he has locked in. It's for the Iron Bowl.

Rashan Gary told scout that Michigan and Ohio State are tied. He didn't say tied at the top though!?
Trying to be positiger
Apparently in a last ditch effort to swoon TE Isaac Nauta we're now pitching him on playing WR at AU. He told Scout the pitch is not working.
Binjimin Victor #2 WR will visit AU next week. KN acknowledged AU has a lot of ground to make up but this will be Binjimins 2nd visit and AU likely to get an official as well.
4* Cb Chauncey Gardner will visit AU later this month and give AU an official. He's 1000% committed to UF (his words) but he does like T-Rob a lot and has ties with Muschamp from his time at if
Stephen Davis Jr. says we're now recruiting him as a LB/S rather than S. He'll play LB for his HS this fall where he's been in the secondary the past 3 years. He said at the opening he doesn't care what position he plays in college
