the stupid wall reminds me of a 1970s soviet apartment building. I really wish we would have went with glass on it like it was originally suppose to be.
The other option would be some kind of nice painting so its just not a bland fricking wall.

The problem with this is, a lot of times they simply add some cheap, vinyl graphics with current players, coaches, etc. Glass would have been a much nicer decision...adding a high sense of modernity to the stadium. I hate to say it, but the large portions of glazing on BDS are a nice case study.

There really is nothing you can do with a bland wall like that. Graphics will look tacky and clash with the rest of the design. Any type of art would also look tacky. Bricking it in would look like a huge brick wall. It was a bad decision.

yea i would much rather the glass than sprucing it up. glass just as a much nicer look. It was also suppose to be glass and instead we got a stupid soviet apartment.

I think the best would be a huge welcome to death valley and maybe some quote. it still sucks but better than nothing.

You didn't.
First came the drawing submitted for bid.
Then came the computer model.
Then came the final rendering.
Never once did it show the side of that wall as glass. But I'm sure now I will hear about how they once existed but were deleted from every internet source out there because LSU decided to go against glass on that side.

Well you should be able to find one and post it then.
I understand why people would assume that it would match the adjacent wall that shows full glass. However, there is no rendering that shows the face of that wall so it would be impossible.

pretty sure it was posted on the rant. Im not going to look it up but i remember a rendering that showed a glass structure where the wall is.
either way a glass structure would have looked much better since the wall sticks out so much.

So the argument is that that picture is not supposed to be a full glass building? That it had one side of windows but the rest concrete?

That rendering purposefully excluded the blank wall, just like all the official LSU update pictures.
