Nope, it's over. SECr has spoken and we will go winless this season, giving up 77 points a game while our anemic offense will hardly manage to score at all. It's a season full of 2003 OU games, all the time. Giving away my tickets to anyone. I'll pay you to take them off my hands, please. We're a Womens' Basketball university only.
What's with a&m fans and the sarcastically agreeing responses, then taking it to another level? I've seen multiple aggie posters do this when a&m is being talked about in anything other than a 100% positive way. Yall are far and away the weirdest fan base i've ever come across.

Literally every fanbase on any level of sports does that.

What do you mean sarcastic? We are realistic, sorry you are part of a delusional fan base

How is a team that is expected to be 4th in the west and win 7.5 games overrated? If it was 2nd/3rd in the west and 9ish games I would see it, but its not. Too many of you are taking the ramblings of Sorantable, a known useless troll, as the OM fan base thinking we are going to be great. Learn what overrated means.

3-7 in the West is pretty interchangeable this year. I think Bama and Auburn are the clear favorites, but the rest of the division is pretty wide open.

Dude we've all been there.

What do you want to read, then? The same explanation that every poster has regarding their team in the offseason?
Ok, I'll switch it up. We're going to win it all this season. JFF actually held our team back and Summy didn't get to really put the full badassery of his already badass offense into the playbook. Our defense will be top 10. Not top 10 in the SEC, but top 10 overall with all the new talent coming in.
Instead of one great QB, we have 2 who can come in and win games. Our OL is better despite losing Matthews, our DL is so beast-mode our already god-like secondary will only have to cover for .75 seconds each down.
Special Teams? Shiiiiit. Kick it to the moon and still run them down at the 10 yd line if they bring it out.
Our only real concern is that we will have so many transfers because of lack of playing time.

2. LSU-ONE question and that's it. QB. Don't talk WR because LSU is more than fine there. Miles has won a lot of football games with marginal talent at QB (anyone remember Jordan freaking Jefferson?). They are far too talented not to win a lot of football games.
LSU is a complete crap shoot this year. If new guys do well then LSU outperforms expectations - if not then underperforms... I do trust Miles and company to squeeze the most out of this squad but not sure what kind of learning experiences are looming and whether those are losses or just ugly wins...

Best playmaker on defense was and still is Deshazor Everett.
Stansbury was 3rd on the depth chart at the time he left.

Every fan base has it's trolls, but I know I've posted some comments which weren't positive about A&M and gotten some well thought out and honest responses.
Perhaps you should try and post educated, non fishing posts and see what you get.

I don't get anybody's hype except for maybe Auburn's. Everybody else has problems except for MSU, but I just think their ceiling is 9 regular season wins. It's pretty much wide open. Each SEC division winner could have 2-3 losses going into the championship. We all need to pump the brakes on getting to the playoffs.
Even if any of us are a 2 lose conference champ and possibly still a legit top 4 team, I don't know how the committee will play it.

It's just the offseason malaise in general though. Everything that can have been said about every team has been said time and time again for the past 5 months... and we still have 4 weeks to go, sigh.
There's only so many ways to type, who knows how good A&M will be? We're just as curious as you and it should be an interesting season.

Your point about the OL is legitimate, but you are way off on Huston Mason.
In his two starts vs Georgia Tech (road) and Nebraska (road), his numbers are better than Thompson and Mauk.
Mason's first two starts are on the road and threw for 300+ in each game.

And even AU has their concerns. I completely agree that it's likely for 2 loss SEC teams to be playing in both sides of the SEC championship game.
Good news for my team I guess.

Well said.
It is high time for some football.
