Is it 2013? Last years team is going to be the same as this years team?

Miss St might be the sleeper in the West this year. They may not win the division, but I look for them to make some noise.
been hearing this for years. they'll go 6-6/7-5 again and next year, again, will be a "sleeper"

Greg McElroy likes to make people feel good about themselves. He's annoying as far as Alabama alums go. He's a doucher who is obsessed with being seen as the high class nice guy.

McElroy, must be looking for work. He's been quoted more in the last two weeks than in the past 2 years.

Ole Miss will beat LSU this year for sure.

He works for SEC Network. The only media member who makes outlandish statements for attention is Louisiana's own Timmy B.

Pretty similar going in to how MSU was going into 2011 -- in that all the hype hinges on an OL that can sustain no injuries.
Of course, we know in hindsight that MSU lost 2 OL starters in the Auburn game, a 3rd in the LSU game before Relf cracked a rib, and despite playing LSU, SC, and Bama well, that season wasn't far from ending in disaster for us.
IF OM stays healthy up front and at QB(with improved arm strength), and if Fahn Cooper is as advertised and ready to go on day 1, part of me believes they can absolutely compete for the west.

Look at Dr. Bo, just throwing up the Heisman on Eric Reid.
He had more rushing yards in that game than Jeremy Hill.

i've heard it every year since 2010. ever since mullen had an 8-4 regular season, state has been the "dark horse" team in the west, and every year they've won between 6 and 8 games. not that it's bad for state because i actually think ole miss fans underrate mullen. i think his consistency at a school like state is impressive; however, it's getting really old hearing that they're a dark horse or about to make noise or whatever else. it's just not going to happen.

It will be difficult to take down LSU, UA, and AU. I'm not sold that the Rebs can win all three games. Possible yes, just doesn't seem likely. When's the last time OM has beaten all three in the same season?

lost to auburn in 2001. previous poster had it right. ole miss has never beaten all three in the same season. if you want to make it easy to research, just go to each of the 8 or 9 seasons where ole miss beat alabama

There are multiple seasons where we beat two of the three listed teams and did not play the third team.
REC been doin' work since the 1940s, I see.
