West, you guys have finished 3rd and 4th in the west with 1st round talent at QB, OL, and WR. Granted, other teams will be replacing talent as well. However, the programs ahead of you have been recruiting at a high level for a very long time. You guys have only recently started stacking talent. Your guys are young. Recruiting Rankings: 2010 - 19 2011 - 35 2012 - 16 2013 - 9 2014 - 5 *according to 247sports.com. I wouldn't look at your standings prior to 2010.
So explain the 2012 season for me then. We have only been recruiting better, and those better recruits have a season or more on campus.

Never mind, don't. That would challenge you to get into scheme and how our brand of ball is dominant, at least offensively, in a defense heavy league.

I think it's retrarded.. How's that?
An unfortunate choice of words for those with special needs.

JFF accounted for 70% of thier offense.
Couple that with thier defense, will be hard to achieve that theory.

There's an ESPN insider article that talks about this here (subscription service, sorry). He makes some good points. I think the most pertinent one is there are a LOT of good teams in the SEC that also lost a very good QB, so this might be a good year to break in a new one. (Though he conveniently leaves Dak off his returner list because of his arbitrary number of starts stat. I think Dak will have a really good year. The point still stands, though.)
I have no idea whether the win column will improve (and neither does anybody, about any team). We have a very good OL and a bunch of good RB's with a different setup at OC who will hopefully use them. The offense should be good again. They won't be SportsCenter Top 10 plays every week, but that's OK. The big question is the D, of course. We'll see. Should be fun.

No clue if that number is correct.
But let's pretend for the sake of discussion that it is.
Are you suggesting we won't have any other player(s) putting up big offensive numbers in his place?

Frick, I doubt we win a game now that we will have 70% LESS Scoring, yardage, etc this year.
Thanks for pointing this stat out! Doubt we ever get back to playing 100% ball now...

It's not like he was questioning it, he ran with it.
You care to address what he said?

My answer remains the same as above.
Someone else will plug the holes left behind by the Ags we lost to the draft.
It's similar to that ol' idea of conservation of number--something stays the same in quantity even though its appearance changes; redistributing material does not affect its mass, number or volume.
We'll still have 100% of offensive output; but changes in appearance will occur.

Will the loss of Johnny Manziel actually make A&M better?

And you lost your quarterback, running back, and two best wide receivers.
prior to last year, we hadn't had all of that in a season since 2007. We won 11 games in 2010 with 11 TD passes. We won 10 games in 2012 with 12 TD passes. We pump out a good running game every year.
We are built on defense to stop the spread teams on our schedule. We are built on offense to score on any team with our power running game. As long as we don't have a ridiculous amount of mistakes from the QB position, we are alright. Can't say that about TAMU right now.
