Wat? there is nothing wrong with Coleman. It's not the newest on the block but it doesn't need a complete overhaul and a new building either.
There's plenty wrong with it. From the sight lines, to the lighting, to the proximity of fans to the court. It is not an attractive arena and Alabama Basketball should have something better. Thinking that "All is Well" with Coleman is silly.

the easiest thing to do would be build a new 17,000 seat arena in the parking lot between Coleman and the law school.
The new facility will be built in the Greek revival style with fluted columns and a grand pediment at the entry. Inside it will have an upper deck, and retractable seating on all sides so large events and conventions can take place on the main floor. The student section will occupy the sideline directly in front of TV cameras. The new arena will have a curved roof with simulated crimson rafters painted on the ceiling as an homage to the original Coliseum.
The right of the Coliseum will be dedicated to basketball with practice facilities and locker rooms, all amenities and a hall of fame in their foyer side. On the left will be Gymnastics history and their facilities as well. Their 6 National Championship trophies on proud display for public viewing. A team store will also be added along with a kid zone and restaurants.
Coleman will be bulldozed for a parking lot (basically switch).
A contest is held for a month to decide a new name for the arena.
