Notice the uptick in Bama's law school perception over the last decade. That wasn't due to the football team, greek life or the campus. And it wasn't that the law school suddenly started working 20 hour days to improve it.

I've heard (I don't know if there's much truth to it), that they put most of the scholarship students in the same section, and because many have the "you must remain in the top X%" requirement to retain it, and the curve, it guarantee's that many will lose their scholarships.
