The football team may have given it a slight bump in 2008-2010, but it's not like the campus suddenly became beautiful in the last 5 years or greek life suddenly started booming in the last 5 years. Think about it.

Actually that is right around the time majority of the new residence halls started opening, the new ridiculous fraternity houses along univeristy blvd. started getting built, Shelby Hall which is one of the nicest science buildings in the nation opened a few years before that, and the football team just started their path of destruction.

UA started aggressively expanding and recruiting out of state under president Witt in 2004-- before Nick Saban.
