it might, and it would reinforce the point I've made several times including in this thread.

NOBODY mentioned fairley at all in this thread until IP (an auburn fan) did. So when this most likely does devolve into that, we'll get the same chorus of "see, yall are still obssessed with fairley! Still talking about him!" Even though we didn't bring it up.

The point about Fairley is that he is the focal point to UGAs Frustration. Prior to that incident, the AU-UGA rivalry had become boring. The bitching and moaning from Dogs have caused AU fans to focus the stick poking in the direction of Athens. UGA fans had a sense of entitlement similar to Bama Fans without the resume.

The only time I've thought about Fairley since 2010 was in my rookie fantasy draft and how nasty he would be/is beside Suh in Detroit. I think UGA fans were rightfully upset over his actions, but I think he was more of a catalyst for the AU fans - it was their first win since 2005 and his actions were a collective frustration relief for the entire fan base.

That was 4 years ago and only gets brought up when others (like you) mention it.

Because we won 4 in a row? So you're saying when UGA is winning it's boring, ie a lack of shite talk? Thanks for making my point. Was it boring in '11 and '12 too? Hmmm wonder why?
