The fricking 5th place team in the West could be the 5th place overall in the SEC.
Ain't that some shite.

I realize when they play the games, the records will keep that from happening but by this metric it is entirely possible.

Mizzou gets no respect, again. We'll have the best QB in the East, the best DL in the East, and one of the best OL. That's a recipe for success. A&M's strategy of kicking their only decent defensive players off the team and starting a freshman at QB will not lead to success.

quote:I read the list until I seen Bama's offense ahead of Auburn. You tell me how you can take anything on a list seriously when they make it that obvious they are playing favorites? Bama hasn't led the league in offense since Saban has been there.
You read the title and read who was at the top and fired off a post without reading the rest. Tell me that's not EXACTLY how that went down.

Gat Damn we're awful. Never in my nearly 4 decades of existence have expectations been so low. Remarkable.

3t. LSU (8, 2)
3t. OM (6, 4)
5t. MSU (6, 5)
At least two teams in the West will be very very disappointed, if not 3, depending on who they are.
quote:
5t. USC (3, 8)
7t. UGA (5,7)
Pretty dead heat there. The inexplicable ranking of the LBs and arbitrariness of the QB rankings could have shifted this in either direction.
quote:
7t. UF (10, 2)
9. Mizzo (8, 9)
One of these two teams will be pretty pissed off with their season.
quote:
10. A&M (4, 14)
11. UT (12, 10)
Will both make a bowl at 6-6.
quote:
14t. Arky (11. 14)
14t. UK (14, 11)
14t. Vandy (13, 12)
Long year ahead.
Overall, IMO, considering 5 teams in the West better than the best East team is ridiculous. UGA, USCe, and UF are easily more talented than MSU and OM. Not to mention all 3 have better HCs. The amount of players/experience returning doesn't matter to much if the other teams are simply more talented.
I also don't think LSU is the 3rd best team in the conference. I see them in the 6-7 range this year.

So basically after all of that, we still know diddly squat about what UF will look like this year.
