He should have signed with AU.

That's kinda my point. Driskel was the heir apparent and Bridgewater wasn't a priority. Bortles developed late but I'm sure he would have preferred UF over UCF.
Does UF or even LSU usually offer qb's with offers from schools like WKU and Colorado St.?
Driskel was a great high school QB. He was much better as a runner than a passer, and that was well known. So what does O.C. Brent Pease ask Driskel to do? He asks him to drop back in a pro style 5 step drop and read a defense and find a wr. Something Driskel is not capable of doing.

Those 3 performances are currently the standard for being a good QB at UF
Yes its been like that since Tebow left.

Other sites charge you for that sort of inside info, but not here.

Didn't you hear, he's third string All-SEC.

fair enough. After the Jefferslee adventure, Mett averaged 201 yards a game and less than 1 touchdown that year but he was still a remarkable improvement over the last few years. The bar had been set pretty low.

I can tell you that our current top 2 QB's were each only offered by half the teams in the SEC.....and Florida wasn't one of them. Driskel was the #1 Pro-Style QB when he came out. Brissett was the #3 Dual threat QB when he came in with Driskel. How is the #1 pro threat QB "not capable" of dropping back and reading a defense?

I have no idea why he can't drop back and read a defense. Why couldn't Jordan Jefferson? This is the only game I saw him play in high school, LINK and at the time I thought he'd have nearly as much success running a spread offense as Tebow did. He had 20 carries for 270 yds that game.
But Pease and Muschamp wanted to run a pro style O, in hindsight it was a terrible f'n mistake.

I think he's proven that he can get the job done. He was your typical Bama QB in 2012, lead UF to a Sugar Bowl, played behind a stout defense , and protected the ball. I think they could have a similiar season if their running game and O-line are good to great.

Why would that make you sad? We're one of the few teams in the conference returning a QB with starting experience, and we're finally running an offense that's tailored to his skill set.

who listed Driskel as pro-style and Brisset as dual threat?
Whoever it is; stop taking them seriously.

Did you get special permission to have a gif as your avi?

Exactly. Recruiting services said it, so it must be the truth.

I've seen a few of them. I doubt you have to have special permission.
