There are 3 schools in this league that care about basketball, Arkansas is one of them and has more posters than the other two. Not that hard to figure out.

You are consistent.
It's a shame you won't be around after the first football game of the season.

As much shite as you talk, I figured that you had a big enough pair to be a part of it. I should have known better.

Congrats on him choosing you over Providence.
You say that like Providence isn't a superior basketball program to Arkansas.

I don't think it's because those posters are obsessed with Auburn, just trying to temper some of your joy. You guys are doing backflips over someone who can only play for one year.
I already congratulated Auburn on the pickup, but getting a senior one-and-done isn't going to make much of a difference in the long run. Pearl and staff also need guys that will stick around for 3 or so years and add some stability.

He will be a good productive player but I think the results will be counter to what Auburn fans will expect. Specifically, I think he will be a helpful defender/scrapper/physical guard/team vocal leader first and foremost which will help the program immensely. OTOH, as others have hinted at, I don't think his scoring will be anywhere near as high as it was at Niagara. It's not that being a high scorer at schools of that level doesn't translate - often it does - but its that Niagara was a REALLY BAD team last year that won, what, 7 games? He was literally their only scoring option, and his shooting percentages were pretty low.
I think he'll get you double digits and his presence overall will really benefit the program, but it will really surprise me if he averages over 20 ppg in the SEC. Unless of course he winds up being the only viable scoring option at Auburn just like was the case at Niagara, but I really don't think that will be the case.
What he will do though is dive for loose balls, throw opposing guards around on D, and basically be a baby Anthony Mason in shooting guard form. And that's an awesome thing to have in your program.

You know times are tough when you have to sink to talkin shite about a transfer to the last place team.

Obviously he is an OK coach which is why Tulsa stole him away from Mizzou.

I don't remember threads being started on tRant about it, the team boards, yes.

I was one of his few defenders and he did a far better job with Anderson's players in 2012 than Anderson ever did that's for sure, but on the road in SEC play last few years Haith was abysmal. Pertinent to this thread, Haith had exactly two and only two road wins in SEC play last year: Arky and Aubie. Nowhere else. Hmmm.

Would you say he's the Nick Fairley of basketball? :kern:

Nah, Nick was not very versatile. He could only crush QBs.
