And you guys give us shite when we leave early. Can't win
For real, though. That was my favorite away gameday experience. We stopped to check the score and watch a game for a few minutes at a tailgate. First guy that talked to us was the owner of the tailgate. He pointed us in the direction of food and drinks and told us to stay there all day.
Then the fans behind us at the game were absolutely awesome. No cross words. We were all just enjoying a good football game. There was this kid who couldn't have been older than 10 or 11. He knew his football, so I talked to him a good bit. After the game, he was leaving and tapped me on the shoulder and shook my hand and said "That was fun. Good game." I was very impressed by that young man.

Wait, so you didn't get piss ballooned and LSU fans treated you to food and booze?
I guess those magazine/internet awards for best fanbase are for real!

Not if the AD keeps telling people how much their seats are going to suck.

Regardless, it will still hold 100K+.
And he said the opposing fan base would be in the shitty seats.

I'm not sure why he said this. Frankly, it seems a little crass, to me.
I'd want visiting fans to enjoy their experience with the atmosphere here, rather than the opposite....

Frankly, I'd rather them stay at home and watch the game. An all LSU fan base home game would be cool.

The poor guy is just obsessed with Alabama

Alabama fans seemed obsessed with him.
If you don't care so much, then ignore him.

Well, I've managed to have fun with them- especially when we win. I dunno, I just think it sounded a little weird.....Not sure if there's a "right way" for opposing fans to take that...

I do, which is why I don't mention him in my posts

He was talking to LSU boosters. Just tryin' to fire 'em up! Apparently by telling them that his brand new stadium will have awful seats..
Posted on 5/21/14 at 11:32 am to oleheat
well he only directed it to Alabama, so we're good

fify
eta I also have sat in the back row at BDS, Neyland, and a few others and every stadium's top/back row seating is terrible

Between radio shows and the internet, yall talk about Joe more than LSU fans
Good comeback. Just make crap up...no one will notice

, LSU AD Joe Alleva, via The Advertiser, told LSU boosters, “When Alabama comes, (their fans) will be at the top of the new stadium seats. They're going to need telescopes to see the game
Are the new seats going to be that much further from the field than the current seats are? I was in the corner of the upper deck in 2008 and it was easy to see what was happening. It was dark because there were no lights over there and it was extremely steep, but still had a good view.

There must have been some serious alcohol at that little get together.
