On the bright side their offense should be a little more predictable this year!
Pass play
Run play
Pass play
Run play

What was their bench though?

I will say weight lifting numbers for QB's is pretty irrelevant. So is a 4.9 40 as a QB at ATM. Sumlin will adjust the playbook.

He won't have to adjust the playbook. He runs an air raid. His preference is for short high percentage passes thrown quickly. Johnny is the one who adjusted the plays by never hitting a check-down and running if his first two options weren't open. The concepts and the plays will be the same, they'll just be run differently - better - by the next QB. Sumlin prefers a Case Keenum type. Keenum wasn't thought of as a runner.

The last 2 times we have played A&M in Texas LSU has won.

Yea, I am sure Sumlin would start Keenum over Maziel if he could do it over again......

Right. Just saying that the offense will look different. Probably same/similar plays but Allen will operate much differently than JFF.

Look at this gum-bumper.
That is in no way what he was trying to say. Must be a short, shits flying right over your head.

I decided to check the kid out after A&M fans continuously gloat that he's going to replace JFF. I was shocked to see he has the physical strength and speed of a High School Freshmen.
No gloating here. Personally I think Kenny Hill beats him out. Kid led his HS team to two 5A State Championships, using the same offense that A&M uses. He's also a redshirt, not true fresh, and, like JFF, he's been arrested at North Gate.
Kenny's gonna kick some serious arse.

I'm with you. I think hill wins the job and gets the start. I think he will be solid and could likely hold Allen off at least for a while.
Allen is good tho. And I know we aren't worried at all about his shirt so he will get his first chance depending on how the SC game is going.

I'm not certain, but I'm of the belief that our offense "won" just as many of more battles against our opponents defenses last year as they did in 2012.
pretty sure they won less since their win percentage went down...
there is an offensive side of the ball and if an opposing D cant stop it they will win every time...
do you follow?
