This we can agree on. Too bad most of the SEC coaches will fight tooth & nail to keep it from happening.

Name your rivalry - nobody else outside of those two teams' fans shed tears when that game isn't played.

Not true at all. I think college football would much worse off without the Iron bowl or the Michigan/OSU game or the Texas / Oklahoma game or Army / Navy for that matter.

But compared to those, Alabama/Tennessee is absolutely irrelevant and it doesn't really matter if Tennessee ever comes back, nobody but those two fan bases would ever care. That one game is fricking up our conference. It's not worth it.

When A&M wins 4 national championships in half a decade, I'll start demanding stuff from the conference. Until then, I'm gonna defer to the current dynasty of college football. I suggest you do the same.

You are a true Aggie.

agreed.

TSIO is probably the least cared about "rivalry" outside of the 2 fan bases. It doesn't mean there isn't relevance.you don't like it? Oh well, shite happens. Personally, I like the 6-2-1 format. It keeps your rivalries and increases the frequency of times SEC schools play cross divisional schools. And as an LSU fan, meaning I hate all of the 13 other schools to varying degrees, I would like to see LSU play and beat them as much as possible. To bad none of the AD had the stones. And a special shout out to Ole Miss

Don't get me wrong. I have been to the grove several times and you preppy bastards are salt of the earth when it comes to tailgating. I just hate Ole Miss, an irrational, only a football fan would get kind of hate. Win lose or draw, where ever the game is at is where the best tailgate in the country is.

It wouldn't be OM/LSU without the hate. I've talked to plenty of you cocksucking Cajuns and supped and drank with many but dammit the hatred is a part of my heritage and in my blood.

All you closet OM ghey and blues really know how to fancy up a tailgate with the nice crystal disposable tableware But that 1 glorious afternoon every fall, where the highballs and jack and coke's flow like the salmon of Capistrano, be at Death Valley or VHS, I want to smack all of you in the face with a Giant corndog.

Real problem is Bamas fear of AU. If they had not worked to block AU to the East, everything would be fixed and the two divisions would be more balanced.

If AU was in the east you'd lose either the IB or TSIO, plus you'd have 4 of the big 6 in one division.

The way it was set up with 12 was perfect. You preserved the big 2 rivalries, and you had a 5-1-2 rotation so in addition to your cross division opponent every year, you also cycled 2 others home/away every year. Doesn't get better than that.

Wait a second. We are scared of AU so we blocked them from leaving our division thus forcing them to play us every year?
