7 days a week. Happy hour starts at 5 and ends around whenever I'm ready to go bed. Yes I am a major functioning alcoholic. Never smoke or drink before 5 pm though. About to quit, moving back to help out the folks and zero drinking around them. Never have symptoms when I go a few days, just trouble sleeping for a few days. Looking forward to going cold turkey this summer.
eta: smoke meaning cigarettes.

4-6.
During the week, just a couple beers after work. Only really get wasted on Friday and Saturday (and maybe a Thursday every now and then)

I normally have one glass of scotch 4-5 nights a week. Nights where I drink more than a finger or two more are usually reserved for special occasions; weddings, reunions, holidays, etc.
Oh, and snow days. I start a fire in the fireplace and proceed to get rip-shite hammered on snow days.

Use to drink Chivas, Jameson, Dewar's, but I find myself always returning to Wild Turkey, 1-2 fingers with a little coke, the beverage

It really just depends on what I have going on. This past semester 3-4 nights a week. Now that I'm getting a job though it'll probably not get above 3.

0. I pretty much quit drinking once we had kids. I'll have a beer on a very rare occasion. I did get drunk last 4th of July for the first time in about 12 years.

Remind me. How many days are in a week again?

I drink 5 days a week... Just a beer or two... Or three... Rarely get drunk or even attempt to anymore.

Two. If I come on the rant and start a thread about how I want to have sex with all of you, I've probably had a few.

I work a 10-4 the middle 8 of the 10 are spent in the field. Don't touch alcohol during that time. However on those 4 days off(Saturday through Tuesday) I try and drink if I can.
I can say that my tolerance for alcohol has dropped like a rock post college. It sucks.

Never. I have enough addictions to overcome just to add alcohol to it. Some can handle being a social drinker but I'm not one of those guys.

Everyday. I only drink to the point of being drunk once or twice, thtough that will probably increase with the pool opening this weekend.
I popped my first beer at 11:00 Saturday and didn't stop until midnight. I've thought I've had a problem before and have taken weeks off, but never felt like I had to have a drink during those breaks and no withdrawals.

Has anyone here heard of The 90+ Study?
Aired on 60 Minutes a few weeks ago. It is considered the holy grail of old people studies. They interviewed like 14,000 60-70 year olds in 1981 and have gone back recently to see who is alive, who is thriving vs. decrepit, and where the similarities are.
They have basically proven that drinking in moderation helps you live longer and keeps your mind healthier in the long run. They MADE SURE to specify in the episode that it isn't just red wine either, all alcohol is the same. Martini = red wine.
Moderation is the key. 1-3 drinks a night for healthy life, also 45 minutes of exercise, if even just walking the dogs.
Oh and a healthy sex life. All the active, still-together old people were booze and sex hounds.

I hate actually getting drunk, but I will have one or two good beers a few days a week. I did get a little drunk on Saturday when I went to a brew fest. That was the most I've drunk in a while.

FWIW I have 1-2 drinks 5 days a week.
And I go out hard on Saturdays usually, but I'm 26.
Once I get married in a few months, that will stop. So I'm pushing it hard at the moment
