College Students Less Tolerant of Conservatives

When was the last time students stood up and said "No!" to having a liberal progressive give a talk at their college?
My opinion is the bias they see for left wing ideals starts as early as grammar school. By the time they get to college they are now indoctrinated to balk at anything contrary to those ideals.
Professors have a lot of influence on college kids. When someone who is intelligent, well spoken, and respected like Condoleeza Rice is invited they throw a hissy fit and demand she be uninvited. But Ahmadinejad is welcome. A hate mongering, oppressive regime leader who has called for the death of Israel and America.
Thoughts?

Maybe it's because the majority of college students, and college educated people in general, tend to lean to the left.

Uh... what?

He elicited laughter and boos from the audience at Columbia University when he said, "In Iran, we don't have homosexuals, like in your country."
His remarks, which lasted about an hour, made several general references to God, religion and science. He portrayed himself as an academic, misunderstood and unfairly criticized in the United States.
Ahmadinejad is in New York to address the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. He spoke at the invitation of Columbia's president, Lee Bollinger, who in his introduction excoriated the leader by saying he "exhibit[s] all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator."

That's true, but it is possible to lean left and not think that it is an outrage to have Condoleezza Rice speak at graduation.

I don't disagree. I was just talking about why college students tend to be less tolerant of conservatives.
I lean to the left and I would definitely like to hear Rice talk. I think that most who just lean left would. It's the far leftists that wouldn't.

I'll start with try posting this on the board that is solely dedicated to political conversation. Move your mouse to the left scroll down a little bit click on political talk and post this topic. For fricks sake. Take your whiny conservative arse to the poli board with the rest the whiny conservative white people. You'll love the circle jerk there.

That's because they're educated.

All I need to know about you came from these two words.

Says the guy from Arkansas? You're the guy yelling at the short bus from the window of your padded cell.

Rice is a suspected war criminal, so I don't blame them for protesting her speaking. I would have too.

You're such a little whiny bitch.

Clinton is from Arkansas, he's a pretty smart guy.
And you're the one using sweeping generalizations. The Rice episode happened at Rutgers, yet you come in here whining about all liberals because of it. Get a grip man, go work in the yard or something.

Here's your sweeping generalization: Asked not to speak

About NAFTA,
In a subsequent ABC News interview, he said that when it came to 1990s-era financial deregulation that so harmed today’s economy, “I think [my advisors] were wrong, and I think I was wrong.”
sounds smart to me
Clinton was a sellout from inauguration. Good man for owning up to his mistakes, even if they did murder small town industry.

Did you read the part where Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama were asked not to speak?
Think before you post.

Maybe it's because there has been a collective awakening that is shining light on the truth of global state capitalism i.e. government/corporate elitism.
We are sick of a culture that celebrates, exacerbates, stimulates the most negative aspects of our species and rewards them financially in a way that creates a cultural hysteria that destroys everything that is good about our species and planet.
(You idiots are so caught up in red team vs blue team game, you're lost, miserably lost. You're perfectly programmed beings. You've fallen into the trap that allows them to divide and conquer. What you think about the democrat-republican thing is all wrong).

You do know the person who did the Commencement speech instead of Rice was also a conservative... right?
