The fact that you've spent an absorbent amount of your time here since 2011 doesn't make you "relevant". I'm not sure what that makes you. Certainly someone who posts 21000+ in three years (contrasted to my 8k since 2007) seems to have an incredible amount of time to waste in becoming "relevant" on a message board. You must be so fricking proud!

My simple request (which seems to be beyond your comprehension) was
So again, with all of your message board relevancy and knowledge, please point to where I said this.
Otherwise. Please, by all means, continue to create shitty threads with absolutely no basis.
Again, congrats on your new found relevancy. I heard Mommy is making Meatloaf tonight.

You seem upset. Do you care if I suggest a drink that'll calm you down?

Looky there. Another "pithy" comment.
I'm good. I don't drink Natty Light. Here that's popular up there in St. Louis.

Seriously? You truly are a message board troll.
So much so I'm virtually 100% certain you've recently signed up to be covered by your parents insurance plan.
I mean, why not? Now that you're covered to age 26 you can be a relevant message board king for at least a few more years!
Congrats!
Oh, and what did I "mis-pellz" besides "Looky"?
Anyways, gotta get back to it. Good luck on your quest for relevancy. You and Chris Kluwe should hang sometime.

you know, killz, people ask all the time "why is michael sam important? who cares?"
and the answer is simple, really. it shouldn't matter, but people do care and that's why he's important.
he's important because of all the people attacking him, and that's why he's considered brave

He has more supporters than attackers .... Brave!

Sort of a joke. The person who wrote it is a complete troll, that said, they may believe it.
Which goes to show you some people's understanding of history is a joke.

Maybe he realized he didn't have much longevity in the NFL as a player to begin with and that's if he made the 53 player cut, however, he's already gay so maybe he can ride that to fame and fortune as the first openly gay NFL player?
It's a win-win for him.

It wasn't 1 min of tv, ESPN had them making out on loop.
I don't like watching dudes make out. I was born that way, DWI.

The Thought Police say you have to watch it and love it or you are a bigot and deserve to go re-education camp.
Fwiw the Thought Police and NFL are one in the same.

If there is a such thing as the "Thought Police", you have nothing to worry about. Complete lack of evidence.

I am not against the individual, I am against what the Bible says is bad behavior.

This is always the lamest homophobic excuse. I assume you feel the same way about adulterers? The Bible doesn't like that bad behavior much either.

8 pages and nobody has pointed out why Michael Sam is important.
He's important because there are literally thousands of kids in this country who go to sleep at night with tears in their eyes, wondering if death would be preferable to letting their secret slip.
Michael Sam serves as an example that any dream is attainable for anyone. His life and his achievements give hope to thousands if not millions of people, maybe even someone close to you. Someone will look at Michael Sam and choose to forge ahead instead of giving up.
Regardless of your take on the issue, this is a fact. If you can't embrace this result as a positive, you should really reevaluate your conscience and try to grow some empathy.

Here's my issue with all of this. Sam says he wants to be treated just like everyone else, then he allows ESPN and their cameras into his home to make a fricking spectacle of him. Name one other player in any draft who was drafted in the 7th round that had the national media in his home to film it. He's using the fact that he's gay for publicity. As far as his sexuality goes, he can bang dudes all he wants, but he's saying one thing and doing another. It comes off as disingenuous.
winner.
