How?

Because the uncertainty of the effect of costs on the employer is one of the largest factors in them not investing in their business at this point. Remove that uncertainty, and you'd see a moderate to large increase in business spending.

More bullshite conjecture. Do you have any evidence to back up this claim?

You say it's conjecture but don't know if I have any evidence. I'll assume your claim of conjecture on my end is conjecture on your end.

It's futile because any bill to repeal it isn't getting past the Senate nor the President's desk. Even when Republicans win back the Senate later this year, they're not going to have enough to override the President's veto, so it's not happening. Perhaps in 2016 if a Republican wins the White House, but even then it will be a challenge because of the way the law is written.

Well you made a claim with no supporting evidence, that's conjecture. If you have some evidence for that claim, let's see it.
The military-industrial complex drives our economy, not small business. Unfortunately what we really need to kick start the economy is another war.

I agree with you but these things are done for the "greater good" of society. Paying for other peoples kids education through public schools is a positive for the community as a whole. Healthcare is personal and my familys health care doesn't have anything to do with anyone else including the government.
Uhhhh

That is what Obamacare is based on so I am not sure why you are seeking higher standards from others now?

I can't post anything without Rocky chiming in, he's like a little yapping chihuahua that begs for attention.

Depends on which sources you read and believe
Pretty much every independent outlet, the CBO, even some liberal outlets are having to admit the expanded costs. States have spoken out how it's increased cancellations, and reported there have been less pick ups.

The vast majority of the law has only been in force for 3 months, so I still think it's early to declare it a success or a failure
And this is actually being dishonest. Much has been delayed. What HAS gone into effect, has created an overall increase and hardship on those who had insurance they were happy with.

Any legislation that large and sweeping is going to have problems with implementation.
And legislation so large and sweeping, that had not one single member of Congress read it before passing it, is going to pass those problems onto the taxpayer, as it's already started to.

The talks of repealing it are futile. It's not going to happen, so let's drop the hyperbole and distorted stories and look at honestly and without bias.
I've told my story here several times, about my 58% increase in premiums. My triple out of pocket expenses, and report after report is coming out stating that it's happening and will worsen across the U.S.. Seeing things as they really are, and not as some utopian hope, isn't hyperbole or dishonesty.

A link to my increased premium and raised OOP expenses?
I do not. I just have my statements, and my new health booklet, and my old one. Everything changed Jan. 1st for me, because I'm self employeed, and don't have the luxury of delayed mandates at the moment. Funny how the self employeed, producers, who usually vote against Dem policies, didn't get the delays.

A link to your story. Actual facts. Age, new and old premiums, that kind of thing

I can tell you my story.
From Dec 31st, 2013 to Jan. 1st of 2014. My age stayed the same. In that 24 hour period, my insurance coverage I have had the previous 4 yrs was cancelled, because I chose not to have maternity or pediatric, being I am a single male, with no kids. I had BC/BS individual plan at the time it was cancelled. My calendar yr deductible was $750 and my calendar yr out of pocket was $2,250.
Under the new plan, that was forced because of Obamacare, my monthly premium increased a total of 58% per month. My Calendar yr deductible and calendar yr out of pocket increased to $1,500/$5,000.
I now have worse coverage, for more money. And as the OP shows, based on healthcare.gov and the Congressional Budget Office, a vast majority of states will see this as well.

The most damning indictment of Obamacare is that doctors are almost unanimously against it, insurance companies are nearly unanimously thrilled with it and many democrats are souring on it already.
Posted on 4/12/14 at 11:50 am to Roger Klarvin
Yep. People have less choices because of it. Healthcare for everyone, isn't so great, if you can't get actual care.
Posted on 4/12/14 at 11:51 am to Roger Klarvin
And the reason for that is that only doctors and insurgence companies really understood what this would do before it was actually implemented. Doctors have been bracing for this four over three years while the public acted like it was a victory for America.
