1. Losing an early enrollment is never good.

2. Why any RB or TE would go to A&M right now is beyond me.

I enjoy his music, maybe it's meant to be? On second thought, we probably aren't recruiting a 60+ yr old white hillbilly.

You're right...regardless who it is, hopeful to see any CB's for elite athletes like Jones. Would be an ideal addition for '16.

I know Jack Jones is being recruited as an ATH, but does A&M want to used him as a DB or WR or RB? He's listed as 5'7 isn't he? Really high rating for such a short guy.

But he has also stated that he plans to take his commitment until whatever all star game/signing day. Still so much time left for the 2016 class and Jones.

As long as we stay in hot pursuit, until the end, we will have a legit shot on NSD.

Jones is likely to be a defensive back in the Army Bowl, although he is listed as an athlete according to the recruiting rankings. Jones is ranked as the No. 3 athlete in the nation, No. 8 player in California and No. 50 player overall by the 247 Sports Composite.

Jones said on the recruiting trail, schools are talking to him at both wide receiver and the secondary, but “at the end of the day, whatever is best when I get there is the position I’ll play.”

“What I’m trying to do is perfect both side of the ball so I’ll be ready and prepared,” he said.

While Jones is not planning to announce his college choice until National Signing Day in February, he has been gushing about his official visit to Texas A&M. He plans to visit again unofficially for the Aggies’ game against Auburn.

“It was just like family,” he said. “I feel like that was home.”

Jones also has taken an official visit to Arizona State and has one scheduled for Florida. He has not decided on the other two.

I honestly don't love Nkeal. I want him for potential and his ties with Byron Murphy, and the recruiting perception.

He's a take for sure, but I don't like him as much as the frankston kid this year.

Shaggy posters are saying we pulled his offer because he was having problems at school, also said he wants to play WR and not TE.

On top of that, they think they are going to steal Irvin Smith from us.

*That came from an article Eric Nahlin and Justin Wells wrote.

Looking like we're upping how many LB'ers were going to take.

Dontavios Jackson added us back to his top list and a couple potential new offers about to go out.

Judging by our attrition rates we need at least 10 LBs to have a functional two-deep

You can't recruit for your current lineup though, that's how you get roster holes at other places.

the roster isn't as bad as the product on the field. We took a pretty big class of lb's last year and they are already showing positive returns for freshman. Pretty good chance Dunning ends up at LB as well.

This might be a little generous. Claude will already be a SR next year, and Moore/Garner/Dwaine haven't shown a ton yet.

Still think we need more high end recruits at the position.

Moore looks pretty good for an undersized true freshman LB.

Not a fan of his.
