If this actually happens (my battered Aggie syndrome says it won't) we'd be entering a new era of recruiting for A&M. I know, I know, Sirr Parker... but aside from him, we've never been this national - our QB and best WR are from AZ and we could potentially add a top DE and WR from Los Angeles? That bodes very well for our future. Be AZ and Cali's closest SEC school and raid them like LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss raid us!

Houston Hobby alone has 20 daily flights to LA between 300-500$ round trip
Accessible, we are accessible

If only Hobby wasn't in such a ghettofaboulous location... we could use a better first impression!

"They see me as a pass rushing defensive end and would use me in the same way they use Myles Garrett. I actually got to talk with Myles for about an hour and he told me all about A&M, what he likes, why he decided to go there and how happy he is with his decision.
"He was telling me that if you come in with the mindset of working hard and focusing on getting better every day, you'll have success there. He said the SEC is where the best defensive linemen are at and that's why he decided to make that choice. He wanted to challenge himself and compete against the best and he said it has definitely paid off for him and he loves it there."
Myles Garrett is putting in WORK for A&M on this. Huge props to him. THANK YOU MYLES

I think he commits while on campus! Lets go!!
A sip buddy said we're getting Cali kids bc of the Adidas commercial, he may be right
& as Martell said, Theo Howard is also a very strong possibility

Yes, but there was originally some discussion about him returning for the Auburn game. Now he's saying he plans to return Halloween weekend. Seems doubtful he'd come back a 3rd time in 4 weeks, but if he does, I'd consider him a lock

Myles Garrett is our best player and recruiter as far as I'm concerned

All I know is that if that girl Kyle was flirting with asked me to jump off a bridge, I'd probably do it. Hopefully she is the tour guide for all the major recruits.

By far. And he just had a gushing major article written about him where he was praised for being a good person as well. The dude's the ace of all aces.

RIGHT NOW, IN THIS THREAD, I AM PREDICTING THAT MYLES GARRET WINS NEXT YEARS HEISMAN MEMORIAL TROPHY. Book it!

We have occasionally had success drawing recruits from outside Texas (Sirr Parker, Joe Weber, Sean Weston). But we've never had close to this much national appeal.
And I agree completely that we need to keep taking advantage of our status as westernmost SEC school to raid Pac land of recruits who want to play with and against the best players in the nation, and in front of crowds that actually care about football.

I feel bad for Jacob, but that was a mistake that you just can't make in that industry. Credibility is everything
I agree that Jacob had to face the consequences, and when you're talking about the 5-star #1 DE, those consequences have to be severe.
But I do feel bad for the guy who, by all accounts, loves Aggie football. Whatever one thinks of Liucci or Hamm, that shouldn't color one's opinion of others that work for them.
I wish Jacob the best.

We have Hamm and Liucci as the two main faces of our recruiting services and you really believe this?
