His grade situation looked bleak and a lot of schools pulled their offers what is BS about that??
Bama did the same and kept faith in Eddie Lacy, same sort of situation...it happens
What is wrong with that?

Not on the grades he's not. That was the rumor around his recruitment at the time and that was obviously confirmed with the whole grade change thing.

Could you answer my other question because I'm curious
Artis-Payne is a Sr correct?
What about Corey Grant? Is he also a Sr?

Bama isn't as stacked at RB next year as it appears. Yeldon is gone to the NFL after this year, and Drake is probably gone as well (potential late round pick IMO).
We will still have Henry for one year, but the carries could be split almost even between the first and second string running backs. We have Tyren Jones and Tenpenny, one of whom redshirted and the other has seen limited action. There is also Bo Scar, but something tells me he may end up as a WR. Nothing insurmountable about Bama's depth chart in 2015 as opposed to the RB depth chart in 2014.
That being said, I would be shocked if we landed him. I think it's Auburn unless something crazy happens.

There is also Bo Scar

He claimed that he is good to go in an interview with BOL. Andrew Bone puts the likelihood that he will make it in at 70%. IMO I don't think we will know until the end of summer.

quote:Ehh, I don't see it. He's been in and out of the doghouse in Tuscaloosa, is very inconsistent, and has fumbling issues. On top of all that, he will be lucky to stay 3rd string for Alabama, and he will definitely be behind TJ Yeldon and Derrick Henry.
Drake is probably gone as well (potential late round pick IMO).
Plus, with the way the NFL has turned out with drafting running backs, it would be easy to find a better guy.

people are expecting Drake will leave either by declaring for the draft or (at this point) more likely by declaring himself processed.

Ahhh, a busted for marijuana coming soon for Drake huh?

When I heard one of our running backs got in trouble I halfway expected it to be Drake.
Tenpenny getting in trouble was just part of the plan to make the depth chart look more appealing to Jovon. The process lives on.
Y'all heard anything about how his visit is going yet?

Only thing we've seen is that Jovon left after his visit...

I have a feeling Kenyan is going to surprise some people this year. He is better than he is getting credit for in here.

Kenyan Drake as a player is awesome. He is my second favorite running back behind Henry. He has a knack for making cuts and is one of the more elusive ones in space. Unfortunately the kid can't get his head out of his arse. His processing if it occurs has nothing to do with talent and everything to do with attitude.

Per Jovon Robinson himself, he is leaning towards Auburn right now.

Makes sense
There is a logjam at Bama regardless of what the coaches say
Not an ideal situation at all for a 2 yr player at best but more likely a 1 and done

quote:Newest article out. Justin Hoke caught up with him.
"It wasn't even a process. Playing football is a business, you can't get your emotions attached. Gaining trust goes a long way. Me coming back while Gus is the head coach kind of leans me towards Auburn. I have history with Gus and it makes it easier," said Robinson.

I have a positive outlook for Auburn in all of this, but I doubt it's even close to being over.

Was it a video interview? Just curious about what question he was asked. Not doubting AU may lead, but after the Evans saga it makes me doubt the veracity of the reported information by AU websites.
