I'm a MIZZOU grad from St. Joe, have lived in Arkansas for 20 plus years. Favorite teams are Mizzou and Hogs. Anderson is a good man and did a good job @ Mizzou. I wonder if he regrets leaving. I have problems with Haith on several fronts. Anderson is one horse short of making a good run.

I'm not concerned about Mike Anderson. I'll leave it at that.

Year 3 and this is what we got. Not going to get better next year. A 6 ft 3 star pg isn't the answer some think. We miss the dance again next year and he is gone. Then Bert will be in his 3rd losing season and his seat is on fire. There is a chance he can suck so bad that he gets his walking papers after year 3. He wins 3-5 games per year 3 years in a row and he will be off to Iowa.

Mizzou fans have been predicting this for 3 years!
What took you idiots so long to catch on?
Mike's brand of ball only works if Corliss is cloned and that ain't happening!

You mean the same Missouri fans that thought Haith was an upgrade?

not sure if that's a good point to make

you told us win totals would increase each of his first three years?

And what Mizzou fan was that? The hire was widely panned by Mizzou nation.

He might. The problem is he HAD to leave when he did. His antics got him crossways with Alden and Anderson completely lost the team his last year. Half the kids were going to leave Mizzou had Anderson stayed.
So even if Anderson regrets leaving, he really had no choice by the end of that season. The situation was toxic for everyone.

While Haith got a lot of love after his first year, when he was announced as the new coach, universally a collective WTF was shouted.

why would he regret leaving? that's what i can't figure out. i really don't mean that as a kick to mizzou but i can't figure out the reasoning he'd rather be there than here. it wasn't like you all were headed for the final four or anything.

Didn't know the culture had gotten bad. I'll keep my Haith issues for the Mizzou boards. Thanks

He might regret leaving behind a couple damn good basketball teams... the team that won the Big12 tourney and last year's mizzou teams were legit... haith is horrible, and anderson would've definitely gotten more out of them.
other than that, he should've regret anything about the move... he left for a more established program and a school he had a history with.

Is it possible to believe that we have a good coach and that turning around a program is not always instantaneous, without it having anything to do with Jeff Long?
