Bias is part of human nature. Of course there's bias in news reporting. It's just not the reason this nation is so split.

It's a large reason in the realm of the political world. To deny that, is just.. well... an Obama follower. Damn the evidence, gonna believe just because.

And I quit responding because it was clear you ignored my acknowledgement that there were instances he was less than articulate.

How about EVERY time he didn't have the opportunity to read a teleprompter? That's more than just instances, and it blew your argument out of the water that he was intelligent because he could articulate. He's shown over and over that he can't.

I didn't feel it necessary to keep responding to someone that refuses to respond to what I actually say and instead respond to what you wanted me to say.

I understand when you don't understand replies, when you've moved the ball in the argument multiple times and you're on something else when a response follows something previous you tried to make an argument for.

The problem isn't the biased media(and there is bias towards both sides), the problem is the general population is too lazy and/or disinterested to seek out enough information on something to form an informed opinion. Instead they take whatever their favorite news source tells them at face value. You can blame that on the media, but I blame it on dumb, lazy Americans.

Whatever. Like I said, I'm not gonna change your mind. You asked, I answered. Sorry you don't like my answer.

I haven't moved the ball a single time, that would be you that has done that. My original point was I thought Obama was more intelligent than Palin because he can articulate his points, while Palin just throws out rhetoric. You are the one that countered that his points were dumb and destructive. That's when I realized I would get nowhere debating with you because you "move the ball", to steal your terminology.
