this year, yes... he was a better DE than clowney.
time will tell if he's better as a pro, but given doodoo's work ethic (or lack there of), it's not that big of stretch.

They just said combine medical found an issue related to a herniated disc operation Ford had at some point and was I guess ordered to not participate further.

fwiw, they did just say that the medical team told Ford he shouldn't participate due to his back. They found something with the herniated disc he had surgery on before last year and said he should sit out.
