If you're a fan of teams that turn out a bunch of NFL prospects, you get used to the petty jealousy like what you're seeing with Clowney. Don't let it bother you....you may take notice that it generally comes from fans of 3 or 4 opposing teams in particular.

Wonder if it has to do with his back. He had surgery on it a couple of years ago, and the surgeon that did his did the same procedure on my back. Mine still gives me problems every now and then.

Yea bad moves on Dee's part. I think he would be better off with his measureables suffering a little than bringing up the dreaded injury red flags.

All it takes is one good year. Ever hear of a player named Fairley? Became a first round pick after one good year.

And fell in the draft and has been shite on in the NFL.

Dee needs to quit talking if he's not going to go through the drills. Either put up or shut up, especially when you rip into other players.

It's not really like him to say that type of stuff either. I was pretty surprised at those comments yesterday.

Well, Clowney just ran a 4.47 40 yard dash, so that means Dee would be like a 4.45, amirite?

There are a few Auburn fans in this thread that would seriously take that bet.

Actually, there won't be any Auburn fans comin' to this guy's aid. How's this bitch going to put Clowney on blast, say he's better than Clowney and then not even compete?

What a punk bitch.

He's no different than that small fricker at a bar who talks shite and then asks his boys to hold him back.

I love Dee Ford and don't think he was all wrong but he should have kept his mouth closed on this one.

They were just dogging the shite out of Clowney at the combine. Dude was saying that watching Clowney's tape made him have to get up and walk around the room to calm himself down to know that a kid with that kind of physical talent could play with such a lack of heart and drive. Said he couldn't believe they sent that tape around to people for evals. That's paraphrasing, but pretty much the gist.

Ford must have felt like he needed to sell himself and his atributes to some degree. I don't recall him ever being very vocal like this about another player while at AU.
