Does anybody have a Roku tv or know anything about them? I've been considering getting one

I started using apple tv years ago. Decided to switch to Roku instead and haven't looked back. Then moved from Roku devices to the TCL Roku TVs (65" 8 Series & 75" 6 Series). It can get a little glitchy at times, but nothing a system reset doesn't fix. I recently added a TCL soundbar & sub too. Been very pleased with all of the purchases. I found most of them on sale at Best Buy.

Ahhh that's super helpful. That's actually exactly what I've been looking for! I have a Roku stick and love it, super easy to use and I want a new tv before football season (and MLB playoffs) so I've been looking at those

Those sticks usually don't give you the best quality picture so you should see an improvement in your resolution when you make the change.

I have one TCL in my kids game room, good tv. For my other main rooms I go with Samsung Q led series, magnificent picture

Stay away from Fire TV sticks. They suck!

Incidentally, the Founder and CEO of Roku is an Aggie. Anthony Wood graduated w/ a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1990.

In what way do they suck? I've had one for ~3 years and love the thing. If you have a good WiFi signal, it should work well.

The stick I've owned has only gotten slower with every update.
It has limited storage space, yet their apps are all massive in size.
Starting up the OS every time I turn on my tv is annoyingly slow.
The remote sucks. It has no IR or volume controls.
The stick can't cast as many formats as other platforms (which is odd considering they're Android based). It makes apps like Web Video Caster useless.
Their layout/navigation is absolute trash.
And you're practically eye raped with ads everywhere you navigate.

We bought 3 Fire sticks for TVs in our house and had issues with every single one, we were constantly having to unplug them and plug them back in. Wife threw them all away and got a Roku for the bedroom, and I just use the Xbox for the living room now.

Aggies support Aggies. Wish Mr. Wood would be like a Phil Knight for us.

Knight is probably 30x more rich than Wood though.

Apologies I know this is asked all the time, is TA ticket exchange the best opportunity for tickets? Parents are wanting to restart the annual trip now that my sister and I have graduated. Unfortunately the only weekend we all have free is Bama so I’m assuming I’ll need to try and just get lucky refreshing stub hub. Already see someone asking for 4-6 and don’t want to step on their toes.

Ticket exchange on Friday night or Saturday morning before the game is best (if you don't mind waiting that long)
Overall, I think ticket exchange is better than Stubhub because of no fees, but ticket prices on all sites right now are going to be way over priced.

Got lucky with Clemson away tickets doing the same literally boarding the plane. Will do the same again, appreciate it!
