They already do. I'm sure someone has pointed this out already.

If they want to get paid, then they can give up their scholarships and pay for college like the rest of us.

Nope. Bigger problems out there like the cost of universities/grad schools in the first place.

Take your "stipend money" and parts of donations, coach salaries etc. and make it to where the average student who is actually joining the work force (instead of providing entertainment) isn't in huge debt before they get a paycheck.

Then we can talk about the poor athletes who can get degrees debt free for playing a sport.
