Our only hope is someone who truly loves Atlanta and the Braves and is rich beyond all belief to come in and buy them. Because yea, we are merely an asset. And for a ball club this popular that is disgusting.
It makes me sick to my stomach, honestly. If there's one team I want to win a championship (almost) as much as the Dawgs, it's the braves. I would probably cry if we won the World Series. There are others that are just as and more passionate than me. Yet this team is merely a dollar figure to some assholes who couldn't tell you what base to run to first. frick them.

Good lord guys you're acting like the Braves are in completely hopeless situation. We've had the best record over the last 4 years in the NL and we're gonna have one of the youngest lineups in MLB...the reason the minor system isn't what it used to be is because we've pretty much moved all our top prospects up the last 3 years and they've been HIGHLY productive...just can't see us losing Freeman or Heyward especially when moving into the newer facilty that will bring in a much needed revenue boost. Kimbrel is another story...just not a good track record with hard throwing closers staying healthy past age 30.
Our 5 year prognosis looks pretty damn good especially with the new stadium move...long term, not so much but
I know they recently upgraded their TV contract to broadcast 45 games on another regional network...wasn't a huge deal but was worth a few more million per season.
Yea,I realize what's happening with huge TV deals all over MLB but you never can tell what or who will step forward and put some type of offer on the table for the Braves and their new facility somewhere down the road.
My biggest concern for the Braves (short term) are the shite deals we have to live with on the current roster (BJ & Uggla)

Agree with all of that. The jags and falcons could both go 0-16 if it meant the braves could win a WS and they are just so damn held back it friggin hurts
