What a waste.

Uncoachable bad attitude. Was hoping he'd grow up but he never did. I don't see him playing for any program now.

Somebody needs to find Al immediately and stay with him. No way he doesn't committ suicide. He suck quays E-dick harder than anybody has ever sucked E- dick before. I'm sorry for your loss, Al. I know how hard this has to be for you...

He actually played some his true freshman year and had some glimpses of studliness. 2013 was a bust though. Arrested during a suspension toward year end seems to have been the straw that broke the camels back.

Maybe his problem is coaching. Sounds like a Houston Nutt situation to me.

Rumor is that USM already told him thanks but no thanks. JSU-bound IMO. Got a ridiculous number of chances to straighten out at MSU and couldn't make it happen. Heard it was so bad at times that David Turner was ready to cut him early this fall.
Good news is that it appears that Nick James has straightened up in Quay's absence and is expected to contribute this year. I wouldn't bet on it -- but that's the word.

Yeah I heard Nick is actually doing good but quay just never got it together... Nick could be a huge DL for us if he gets it together

Whoa, glad we missed on him I guess. I do remember posters saying he was showing out when he reported to campus I believe but I never heard anything about playing time

Is Quay Evans the one they dubbed Quasius or whatever it was, that they were so high on during grindmas?

I remember the rumor at the time was that it was because of attitude problems.

The typical all-everything from high school that commanded everything he wanted and didn't have to play hard to dominate.
Gets to college and doesn't adjust. He and Nick James went all tPOS. James apparently did what the coaches wanted and has earned back his spot. Quay didn't.
He's going to be solid for Auburn.

Yeah -- he just never adjusted to the college game. He'd take plays off in practice -- and basically take practices off where he wasn't there mentally and didn't even try. Nothing our coaches would try seemed to get through to him. Doesn't matter how talented he is -- Mullen has repeatedly proven that he isn't playing anyone's arse unless they are a good practice player.
At times, he would get motivated and go total beast mode for just long enough for us to get excited. This happened a couple of different times where we thought he was on the path to living up to his potential -- only to relapse into IDGAF mode for weeks/months at a time. Seemed to be used to dominating -- and when he couldn't, he was easily mentally defeated.
Hope James can live up to his potential(again, not crossing my fingers -- but at least current reports are good). I've never seen someone his size and power move like he can.

Ole Miss and their damn star wars. Dumb stupid arse coach can't even coach a 5-star so what the hell does it matter.
