One of the difficulties of a good mobile QB is the pass rush must have containment, rather than just pin your ears back. It gives the QB just a bit more time.

Running ability helps them beat you with their arm. Mobility occurs in the pocket and out of the pocket (See: Football, Johnny fricking).
