As a rule young corners (in college or pro) don't look great their first year or so. Kareem Jackson, Marquis Johnson, Dre Kirkpatrick, and Dee Millinar all looked bad their freshman years. Hell Marquis didn't look great until 2009 and he absolutely shut down Alshon Jeffery 4 plays in a row.

While true Dion Belue was a very serviceable corner, but he is a 2nd corner on a great defense. He isn't nearly at the level of any of the #1 guys we have had.
Cyrus Jones was just painful to watch at times. Whenever there was a sort of break down on defense the replay would often show him just looking completely lost.
