I am honestly stumped by this game. All four of my predictions about the other BCS bowls were completely off, but even before this game I've had a hard time getting a feel for it. I don't have a particular gut reaction or anything.

I didn't think Auburn had the speed to keep up with the Alabama defense. I was clearly wrong.

Florida State looks like an absolutely dominating team, but they have a terribly weak schedule so it's hard to glean just how well they would handle any adversity.

If I had to make a pick...

Florida State 41
Auburn 34

But nothing would surprise me in this game (except a blowout by either team -- that would be a little surprising I think).
