Wasn't so much talking about the drinking/gambling so much as the general attitude you mentioned

Cool. I'm not a gambler, tbh. I'm too good at spending my money other ways to trust myself

What about that redneck shooting that black dude in the throat for attempting to steal his ride?

By attitude I'm talking about the extravagant lifestyle, drinking, fighting and gambling. Not the race issues, to be clear.

Course it is all genetics..you can go far back in history and you see a lot of the same last names of when the delta was settled as you see now. Mostly Italians and irish immigrants

Don't remember that one. If he was carjacking him, then it was justified.

There are definitely some racist people here. I'm not one of them..I judge people by character not skin color. It's no worse here than anywhere else in the south though.

I know what you're referring to, you just quoted the story wrong. That was over a year ago, btw. He shot a guy trying trespassing in his yard. He confronted the guy and the guy reached in his jacket like he had a gun, so he shot him (there had been recent robberies in the area). Turned out he did have a gun and they found stolen items from nearby houses at the guy's house.

Well, if you can't even spell "common sense" correctly, I doubt that you have much of it to begin with.

I don't think I've ever even seen it misspelled this way. This just screams "WRONG."

Thanks, Tbird!
Yeah, I think my love for pink was a bit too evident in the others. Elly needed something more traditional.

Damn I saw new action in this thread and thought someone finally just melted down. Just a damn spelling error that even auto correct can't be blamed for

Same reason Ole Miss has terrible athletics... you need to educate people before they can be successful. If you have laughably bad education like Ole Miss, everything else suffers.

That has no correlation and even if it did, OM has no control over their admission standards.
