The only person I've ever known to be physically harmed in the delta was stabbed in the throat by white trash fighting with his girl.

I got jumped and robbed when I was 14. And like I said I lost a brother too. Some people may be fine with walking away. And it may have worked out. But I grew up in a rough area and people got the shite kicked out of them for literally no reason at all in some cases.
shite makes you paranoid. Even if I did eventually end up out in a little country town in small ton TN. But we only move there because of my brother.
It's all good until someone you know gets beaten to a pulp or murdered.

the Delta is said to be it's own country, the most Southern place on earth. I did a historical paper on the delta once and it discussed the extravagant lifestyle of delta plantation owners in the 1800s..how they were known to have to have the largest houses, the prettiest wives, were know to drink excessively and gamble on the riverboats every weekend.
That attitude has not change one bit 200 years later. It's almost odd

This was in college at a bar
nothing but 22 year olds with too much whiskey in them
but I did live in Antioch TN for a long time which is pretty bad
it's much worse now though

Indianola isn't that bad. Greenville is where it has gotten real bad, along with the smaller towns like Moorhead.

i guess i was too busy working during college to afford bars or places that lead to such an occurrence. or alcohol. or a social life

I don't know of any case of either in the past year. I only know of blacks killing blacks and whites killing whites recently.
