Obviously. They would be incompetent to not go for him. Most of the "legit" rumors stem from prominent boosters pledging their money for a Saban hire. Then these guys talk amongst one another about how much money they are willing to cough up. These conversations get overheard or passed along in a big game of "telephone."

Of course Saban will entertain these offers because they are going to be the biggest offers in CFB history. I personally think he will stay at Alabama because that is the logical thing to do. But Saban may not make this decision based on logic. A part of him never wants to settle down and always looking for the next opportunity. That's part of what makes him such a great coach.

If I had to give it odds I would say 4:1 Saban stays at Bama. Anythings possible.

So youre saying theres a 20% chance that Saban stays, 80% he leaves??

I don't think you know how to make odds

Sexton has floated the $100 million for 10 years since the end of the 2011 season. Maybe it was a bluff - maybe it was to see how serious Texas would be. Who knows?

However, if they offer it, anybody who thinks Saban stays in Tuscaloosa for $8 million a year instead of taking a guaranteed $100 million for 10 years at Texas is crazier than I am (and that's pretty crazy, FTR).
