Edwards was also saying shortly following the game that Auburn would jump Florida St. for the #1 spot with the Iron Bowl win, so lets put the brakes on here.
While I love to get another shot at AU, I believe they (however lucky) beat us fair and square and it would be unfair for us to get another shot this season.

This would be pointless,and IMO will not happen. That said,strange things happened in 2011 when everyone above us lost,so you cannot simply rule it
out either. Auburn is good I'll grant you that,but I just don't think they could do it twice in 1 season unless we continued to miss field goals again

I never knew this, but the BSPN BCS show last week said that Edwards was a bama grad and Edwards did not correct him.

The more I think about this
I could see TV ratings alone pushing this game
BCS games have blown lately unless it's the Title game
This game would bring in huge ratings
Unfortunately money talks a bunch in today's CFB

The only way Bama and Auburn rematch in any bowl is if Auburn, Duke and Michigan State win on Saturday.
So no Sugar and no BCS. Auburn vs Florida State in Pasadena.

This is incorrect. The only team that has to loose is NIU. Then the sugar would get SEC Champ and a pick-em. If only Bama don't go to the orange or rose.

Not saying it would matter. But you have to play some one so why not? It would do a lot more for NOLA than the shite show that was Fla/Louisville last year.
