Yes!
It's all right there in the SEC Rulebook.
"If any conference team defeats a previously unbeaten Alabama team (thus denying Alabama a 1st place finish in the Western Division), that team hereby agrees to a rematch in whichever post-season bowl they accept- providing they also win the outright SEC Championship."

This would be the only way I wouldn't attend Auburn's Bowl Game it would be such a stupid pointless game.

Shrink that gap to 6.

Why? We own UA. Gus will take the series lead before he leaves.

Bama to Capitol One bowl please!
You just showed how much you know about cfb.
Bama will get a BCS berth based on current rankings and upcoming games, it unavoidable. The question is which one will it get.

I hope not. Who wants to see Bama beat Auburn the second time around? Not very good for TV.

Not a championship game so little significant dollars for network TV.
Not sure this would be a sell out as I don't see either fan base flocking to buy tickets.

Auburn doesn't want any part of that. They had two weeks to prepare for this one and they don't want Saban getting several weeks to prepare.

Stupid arse gump.

The SEC wouldn't let this happen

I'm sure Saban spent the full week preparing for mighty Chattanooga.
If we don't get to go to the national championship.. no bowl victory would compare to beating Bama twice. Bring it on. We could use another near 300 yard rushing game against that "vaunted" run D to get to 4K

Depends on the stakes
In the Sugar Bama wouldn't care
In the BCS NCG in Pasadena Bama would roll easily, a month to prepare and fuel already on the fire, we've seen what kind of results Saban can bring about with those factors in his favor

This is what happens when they don't drop Alabama further in the rankings after they lose. They let them still sniff the NC talk with this.
